Forget what's happening
in Europe with the collapse of tragic, bankrupt, socialist Greece and
the other social welfare states. If you want to get a
frightening glimpse into the terrible leftist future in store for our
once great declining land then look no further than what 50 years of
unbroken Democrat rule (20 of which with a Communist mayor) has done to
Detroit. Once the 4th largest city in America, and prosperous iconic
model of industrialization, innovation and car manufacturing,
Detroit (now the 18th largest city and falling) is like a half brain
dead cancer victim on life support sinking ever deeper into misery,
insolvancy and economic ruin. Ranked as America's most dangerous city by
Forbes for the forth straight year Detriot is plagued by a thousand
damning ills: rampant crime, crushing poverty, worsening illiteracy
(among high school grads), epidemic drug abuse, burnt out,
decaying homes and buildings, trash strewn vacant lots and streets,
hopelessness and gloom. Indeed, with a black population of 87% and
middle class flight Detroit is regressing into a blighted, squalid third
world hell hole-one of those sub-Saharan social catastrophes ruled
by smiling, corrupt, charismatic dictators where there's the very rich
few favored by government and the very poor masses always promised the
hope of better days in A More Perfect Union that never comes.
What Democrats did to
Detroit for 50 years of misrule and corruption (turning Motor City into
Handout City) they are doing nationally under Barack Obama with his
reckless agenda of transformational change: of punishing success, high
taxes, runaway spending, rising debt, central planning and
ruinous government free stuff dependency. Not A More Perfect Union but a
more perfect shambles, that's where this country is headed under this
dangerous crackpot leftist regime. The Detroiting of America is at hand
and the progressive rot has got to stop before it's too late.
